Naughty Bear
What is Naughty Bear? It's a game about a cute, cuddly, angry teddy bear who runs around town killing other teddy bears. Kinda' F'ed up. Developer A2M is giving the game a very dark look and feel. Kinda' like a Care-Bare game gone horribly wrong. Published by 505 Games, Naughty Bear is set for a Q2 release date. Enjoy this trailer from GameTrailers.com
Max Payne 3 Delays
An article on Joystiq.com states that Max Payne 3 may be pushed back because of rewrites and mismanagement by Rockstar Games.
I've never been much of a Max Payne fan, but I do find it sad to see such a classic franchise get the Duke Nukem Forever treatment. I'm beginning to think that 3D Realms is spreading their incompetence to every franchise they've touched during the DNF development cycle.
Super Street Fighter 4
Street Fighter 4 will be entering round two in April with all new characters and stages. There has been a lot of flack on the internet over Capcom releasing a new Street Fighter 4 game so close to the 2009 original. Most fans wanted the new content to be DLC despite the low price of $40 for the disk copy.
I really don't see what all the fuss is about. Sure, forty dollars is a lot for extra content. I can understand why those who spent their money on the original Street Fighter 4 may feel a little betrayed, but we all have to remember... it's STREET FIGHTER! It wouldn't be Street Fighter without the annual improvements and new characters that keep us coming back over and over again.
Seeing all the new content being released, I fully understand why DLC was not an option. I have to side with Capcom after seeing all the work they've put into the game. This will be much bigger than Super Street Fighter 2 and just as epic as Third Strike. I can't wait!
