Monday News: 8/11-12/08

A few small changes.

While working hard on the new animated episode I took some time this week to revise the site a little. New backgrounds with the addition of a new ad space on the front page are the most obvious changes. I have gotten rid of the full-page ads on all the pages except the index page. The full-page ad will only appear once unless you reopen the window. Hopefully this will work better than the full-page ads in the past.

Comics Return Saturday with a new Ricky Ray Show!

Before the relanch of Becky you will all be treated to a new Ricky Ray comic on Saturday. I know it's been a while so do enjoy. I've made a lot of plans for the site's future. I feel everybody will be happy with the changes to come. Babe Flexible will be scraped as a comic due to production time taking too long with other projects. It will be revamped as a new animated series for the site. For more news on things to come, log in Saturday for an all new Ricky Ray Show comic. See you then.

Bionic Commando Rearmed

With Mega Man 9 coming soon to PSN, XBOX live, and the Wii online market place what else could old school fans ask for? How about a 3d sides crolling remake of the original Bionic Commando? The new arm for the online release has been redesigned to fit the look of the upcoming 2009 title for the franchise. Being a big fan of the first one, I'm sure this well polished remake won't disappoint. It'll be available for download August 14, 2008.

Madden 09... wow. :(

I'm a gal you doesn't mind playing the same game over and over again but having to pay 60 bucks a year for a few tweaks and an updated roster is just... stupid. While I'm sure it's a great game, I think I'll be passing on 09. What's the point of buying the same game when downloadable content can add what Little changes this game has to offer? I know I'll be getting a lot of mail about this but I'm sorry. Madden just isn't worth the buy for me anymore. Now I need somewhere to put all these other madden games I've barely played.
